For the year 2021, the EPO and the USPTO have agreed on the following release schedule for the 2021 CPC Scheme and corresponding products updates:
- 1 January 2021 (CPC 2021.01)
- 1 February 2021 (CPC 2021.02)
- 1 May 2021 (CPC 2021.05)
- 1 August 2021 (CPC 2021.08)
Continuing with the existing practice, the updated products for each version will usually be pre-released on the first Tuesday of the month preceding the entry into force. The entry into force of each version will be on the first day of the corresponding month.
